Corporate honey gifts: a guide for companies ordering 10 to 500 boxes
Honey as a corporate gift: how to put a box together, personalisation options, realistic quantities and lead times, and how to order from a small beekeeper.

Every autumn, companies look for a gift that isn’t yet another pen or calendar. Honey is the answer we see more and more often, and for good reason. This guide is for the people who decide on gifts within a company: what honey can do, how to put a box together, what can be personalised, which quantities and lead times are realistic, and how ordering from a small beekeeper works.
Why honey works as a corporate gift
- It gets used. Honey is eaten, not left in a drawer.
- It suits almost everyone, regardless of age, diet or taste.
- It has an origin. A jar with the beekeeper’s name and the place says more than any slogan. A company that gives a local product is saying that it chooses carefully.
- It keeps. Sealed honey keeps for years at room temperature, so the boxes can be prepared in advance.
- It scales. The same idea works for 10 partners and for 500 employees, with different contents.
How to put a box together
The three tiers we do most often:
| Tier | Contents | For whom |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | one jar of honey in a box with a card | a large number of employees, clients in a mass campaign |
| Mid-range | two varieties of honey (e.g. acacia and chestnut) + bee pollen | partners, more important clients |
| Premium | perga 100 g + honey + propolis or balm, in a box with a message | key partners, management, awards |
Perga (bee bread) is particularly interesting for the premium box: a product most people have never tried, with a story about how it is made, in a jar that gets remembered. We explained why it costs what it costs in our article on the price of perga.
For help choosing honey varieties, see our guide to types of honey and our article on how to put together a honey gift.
Personalisation
The options are:
- an additional sticker or card with the company logo and a message,
- a box in a chosen colour or with a printed insert,
- a note from the beekeeper about where the hives are and what is in the box,
- a choice of honey varieties to suit the recipients.
The beekeeper’s label stays on the jar. The origin is part of the gift’s value, and labelling is also a legal requirement.
Quantities and lead times
We are a small producer, so quantities depend on the season and on our stocks of each honey variety. Realistic timeframes:
- up to 50 boxes: two to three weeks,
- 50 to 200 boxes: four to six weeks, especially with personalisation,
- more than 200: get in touch as early as possible so we can agree the contents based on stock.
For Christmas, send your enquiry by the beginning of November at the latest; in good years there is enough acacia and chestnut honey, but perga is always limited.
How an order works
- You send an enquiry through the corporate gifts form with a rough number of boxes, the contents you would like and your deadline.
- We come back with a quote giving a price per box and a suggested contents list within a few working days.
- We agree the personalisation and, if you wish, send a sample box.
- Delivery to one address or, by arrangement, to several addresses.
Payment is by invoice; there is no online payment.
Notes
- Honey is not for children under one year old; if you are sending boxes to families, add that note to the card.
- Bee pollen, propolis and balm with bee venom can cause sensitivity in allergic people; for mass campaigns, a honey-only box is the safer choice.
- Perga and bee pollen have a shelf life of roughly a year; honey keeps for years.
Conclusion
Honey is a corporate gift that gets used, has an origin and scales from 10 to 500 boxes, with personalisation and realistic lead times of two to six weeks. You will find all the details and example boxes on the corporate gifts page, and you can send an enquiry right away.
Questions and answers
Why is honey a good corporate gift?
Honey is a corporate gift that actually gets used, has a clear local origin, suits almost everyone and keeps for years, so it doesn't have to be sent at the last minute. It also carries the story of a small family producer, which represents a company better than generic promotional material.
How far in advance should corporate honey gifts be ordered?
For up to 50 boxes, two to three weeks is enough; for larger orders and personalised labels, allow four to six weeks. For Christmas we recommend enquiring by the beginning of November at the latest.
Can a company logo be put on corporate honey gifts?
Yes. Alongside the basic label with the beekeeper's name, an additional sticker or card with the company logo and a message is possible, as is a box in a chosen colour. The beekeeper's label stays, because the origin is part of the gift's value.
How much does a corporate honey gift cost?
The price depends on the contents of the box: from a single jar of honey in a box to a box with several varieties of honey, perga and personalisation. We prepare a quote for each enquiry individually, based on quantity and contents, and send it within a few working days.
