What is the api experience?

The api experience is a special stay next to the hives, in a space that lets you be close to the bee world while safely separated from the bees themselves.

What it looks like

The api chamber is a small wooden cabin next to the hives. The bees fly freely in and out of their hives, and a mesh separates them from the visitor — the bees cannot reach you, but the air, the hum and the aromas of the hive can.

In the api chamber a visitor can experience the calm, the hum and the rhythm of the bees, the natural aromas from the hive — honey, wax, propolis — and the atmosphere of a place by the forest. The stay is meant to be calm and simple: you come to our oasis, settle into the space next to the hives and spend some time close to the bees, surrounded by nature.

During your stay you can:

• listen to the hum and rhythm of the bees
• breathe in the natural aromas of the bee world
• look out over the forest
• slow down and step away from the everyday rhythm
• get to know the story of the Oaza Bee products up close

The emphasis is not on hurry, but on calm, breathing and presence.

We present the api experience as a natural experience of time near bees, hives and the forest. We make no medical claims and do not claim that the api chamber cures illness. Our focus is the experience: the natural aromas of the bee world, the hum of the bees, the calm of the place, the view of the forest and a break from everyday life.

People allergic to bee stings or bee products should tell us in advance — although the bees are behind a mesh, the air in the api chamber carries the aromas and traces of hive products.
